Description
I found this rare Bocote burl at an exotic wood importer in San Diego, CA. I wanted to keep as much of the natural shape as possible, while still creating a piece that looks intentional. Cutting the back and side edges and polishing the end grain, while carving out a bowl from the main burl section accomplished this nicely.
This is a truly unique piece and I can promise you that no one else on earth has one quite like it!
